Contracts Administrator

POSITION OVERVIEW
ETHEX Corporation, a subsidiary of KV Pharmaceutical, is seeking a Contracts Administrator who can provide support to all areas of the organization related to membership and contract administration. In this role, you will be providing administrative support to the contracts department, which includes contract maintenance, customer communication and bid preparation. You should be able to work closely with internal departments to research and resolve contract inquiries ensuring accurate maintenance of contract membership in CARS/IS for all Customers. To succeed, you should be able to handle a wide range of database related responsibilities including researching the following: class of trade classification, eligibility requirements, customer contact information, chargeback discrepancies, and price discrepancies.
As the Contracts Administrator, you will utilize public government information web sites, DEA, HIN and PHS to determine if Federal Government Entities, Public Health Facilities, and Group Purchasing Organizations are eligible for a reduced price per contract agreement. As well as, maintain contract pricing and incentive agreements in CARS to ensure Customers are billed accurately and timely. Your writing and critical thinking skills will be needed as you will provide assistance with bid process, prepare wholesaler correspondence, and maintain pricing models (Net Price Grid, Bid Template, Class of Trade and PAM). As the Administrator, you will monitor and review daily Price Override Report to ensure compliance with SOX requirements and assist with investigations regarding membership, bids and contracts.
KV Pharmaceutical is seeking individuals who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, offers an organized approach to providing timely accurate reports, can multi-task, prioritize, and is proficient in Microsoft Office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Word.
• Ability to create, interpret, and communicate detailed report data.
• Proficiency with electronic mail, record keeping and routine database activity. Experience with database entry is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excels in handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy of work.
Education/Experience
• Bachelor degree in business, accounting, finance or business field – Required.
• Minimum 2 - 4 years in a customer service/sales support environment or financial support environment. Pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
• Experience working with IMany CARS/IS is desirable.
